He leans towards the lanky side in terms of frame. He has very light brown hair which is usually tidy and neat, with lavender eyes that are usually half-lidded from sleep. Alix generally wears slacks and dress shirts than casual clothes because of his upbringing. In most cases that is his usual front. But once you delve deeper beyond his personal bubble, you can come to find that Alix isn't all that stoic. In fact, he's really just a shy guy. Beyond the quiet demeanor, Alix is a polite, friendly guy. He's quite gentlemanly, actually and mature for his age. Thoughtful and empathetic, he's a benevolent kid who thinks of others before himself. He is prone to blushing which might be an appealing characteristic to the ladies. Alix is more of a listener in a conversation rather than talking. So ladies, line up, because this Granted, Alix does have his share of flaws. Despite his reserved manner, he's still a teenager so he is rather immature. He's very...bull-headed. Stubborn as heck. Although his personality is like a gentleman, Alix is quipped with a short temper and a sharp tongue. He's indignant about himself because of his insecurities. But overall, Alix is a reserved but gentle guy. ★ H I S T O R Y: Alix was born on april 5th in Paris, France. He was born to Leonce and Marietta Hugo, and became the youngest of three children. The Hugo family was an old, aristocratic family with plenty of wealth for leisure and comfort. Despite that, Leonce and Marietta were strict with their children to raise them as a proper lady and gentlemen. Their childhood was often robbed with hours of studying and activities that the children never liked. Their family never felt like a family, being so stiff and formal with each other. Alix hardly saw his parents in a week because of their business trips. While their parents were gone, Alix and his older siblings, Berlioz and Lucille, would try to escape the mansion for their freedom. They often went on mini-adventures, plotting devious traps for their nannies and tutors while they went and explored Paris. For a while, it seemed like everything was normal; their daily routines would be to skip tutor and run off onto the streets for an adventure with children from lower classes. The bright, sunny days abruptly ended that one traumatizing day. A busy driver was speeding when three Hugo children were crossing a street. Lucille was in the lead and got hit by the van. She was taken to the hospital but passed on immediately; Alix and Berlioz had minor scratches. Marietta and Leonce drowned in misery at the loss of their daughter. Their mother would do nothing but weep in her bedroom while their father turned to alcohol for escape. Berlioz, as the oldest son, blamed himself for Lucille's death and became a shut-in. Their family had been completely broken. Word spread throughout the family and their kind grandfather, Leonce's father, offered to take in the children for Leonce and Marietta. So Alix and Berlioz were sent to Osaka to live with their grandfather. Berlioz was twelve, Alix was seven. He was a wizened, eccentric old man who loved the Japanese culture. He taught them about the culture and all that he had learned while living there. It was here that Alix felt like he was home; that he had a family. Berlioz slowly came out of his shell, becoming that playful brother he once knew. They went to school and befriended many kids who were curious about foreigners like them. Eventually the time came when Marietta and Leonce had accepted Lucille's death and straightened themselves out. Despite that, neither Alix nor Berlioz wanted to return to Paris. For once their parents agreed to their wishes and allowed them to remain there, negotiating vacations and trips back to France. The two children were enrolled into Ouran Academy. Alix's first year at the high school division was nerve-wrecking but an adventure. He gained many friends and kept diligent with his studies.
